[Doneil MacLeòid] Bhuannaich Taobh na Locha Cupa Mhic an t-Sutharlanaich air an aon latha a fhuair a’ chiad sgioba aca, Camanachd an Òbain, troimhe chun a’ chuairt dheireannach do Chupa MhicAmhlaigh. Rinn Taobh na Locha a’ chùis air Lobhait dà thadhal gu h-aon aig Pàirc a’ Chanàil. Thàinig Cill Mhàilidh cuideachd. Chaidh Bàideanach gu mullach Lìog Nàiseanta fhèin, an dèidh cùis a dhèanamh air Obar Dhobhair naoi - neoni ann am Farpais nam Bàn.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Dh’ fosgail Rhona Nic an t-Saoir an sgor do Bhàideanach agus rinn Kirsty Deans cinnteach bhon an smal airson an sgor a dhùblachadh. Fhuair i tè eile agus tha e doirbh do dh’ Obar Dhobhair dèiligeadh ri Bàideanach.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Fhuair Zoe Reid dara tadhail anns an dara leth, Bàideanach ag iarraidh dìoghaltas airson an gèam mu dheireadh aca a chall.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Agus las Rhona Stewart bho pìos a-mach airson còig.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Le oidhirp air leth, fhuair Kirsty Deans an treasamh tadhail aice. Zoe Reid air an targaid a-rithist – droch latha aig an tè-glèidhidh. Le Bàideanach a’ faithneachadh gun robh laigse san tadhal, thòisich oidhirpean bhon nas fhaide a-mach. Kirsty Deans le an dà thadhal mu dheireadh, a’ dèanamh cinnteach às na puingean.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Ann an Cupa Mhic an t-Sutharlanaich, ’s e taobh na Loch a fhuair a’ chiad thadhal, Ros Caimbeul a’ dèanamh cinnteach. Fhuair Raymond Rennie aon air ais do Lobhait an ath mhionaid. Agus dh’ fhàg sin gun robh feum air ùine a bharrachd.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Lewis Buchanan ge-tà a’ faighinn an tadhail chudromach do thaobh na Loch.

[Doneil MacLeòid] Taobh na Loch le aon chupa agus cothrom air tè eile dhan a’ chiad sgioba aca. An tiotal nàiseanta airson dara sgiobaidhean a’ dol gu deas.

<

[Doneil MacLeod] Lochside Rovers won The Sutherland Cup on the same day that their first team Oban Camanachd got through to the final of The MacAulay Cup. Lochside Rovers beat Lovat with two goals to one at Canal Park. Kilmallie came too. Badenoch went to the top of the National League, after beating Aberdour nine – nil in the Women’s Competition.

[Doneil MacLeod] Rhona MacIntyre opened the score for Badenoch and Kirsty Deans made sure from the spot to double the score. She got another one and it’s difficult for Aberdour to deal with Badenoch.

[Doneil MacLeod] Zoe Reid got the second goal in the second half, Badenoch wanting revenge for losing their last game.

[Doneil MacLeod] And Rhona Stewart blazed from a good bit out for five.

[Doneil MacLeod] With an amazing effort, Kirsty got her third goal. Zoe Reid on the target again – a bad day for the goalkeeper. With Badenoch recognising that they were weak in goal, attempts began from further out. Kirsty Deans with the last two goals, sure of the points.

[Doneil MacLeod] In The Sutherland Cup, Lochside Rovers got the first goal, Ross Campbell making sure. Raymond Rennie got one back to Lovat the next minute. And that meant that extra time was needed.

[Doneil MacLeod] Lewis Buchanan getting the important goal for Lochside.

[Doneil MacLeod] Lochside with one cup and an opportunity for another one for their first team. The national title for reserve teams going south.
