Tha Seonag ag eacarsaich aig an taigh. Dè mu do dheidhinn sa?

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Seonag] Halò! Seonag Buxton an seo a-rithist agus an-diugh tha mi a’ dol a bhith ag innse dhuibh na rudan a tha mi air a bhith a’ dèanamh bhon taigh agam airson a bhith a’ fuireach fit tron ghlasadh sluaigh a tha seo. Tha mi glè fhortanach gu bheil cnoc beag air cùl an taighe agam a bhios a’ toirt mu aon uair a bhith ga sreap dhan a’ mhullach. Bidh mi ga sreap ’s dòcha dà thuras gach seachdain agus ’s e deagh eacarsaich a th’ ann. An seo, chì thu right thairis air Ceann a’ Ghiùthsaich a-null dhan a’ Mhonadh Ruadh.

[Seonag] Agus tha mi air a’ mhullach a ruighinn, seall cho àlainn ’s a tha e!

[Seonag] Bhon a’ mhullach, chì thu right sìos An Srath bho Ceann na Creige seachad air Ruthven Barracks agus Ceann a’ Ghiùthsaich, seachad air Baile Ùr an t-Slèibh agus sìos gu Lagan.

[Seonag] Dòigh eile a tha mi air beagan gluasad fhaighinn a-steach ’s e a bhith feuchainn yoga. Nist, chan eil mi uabhasach math air yoga idir ach tha e air a bhidh a còrdadh rium. Agus ’s urrainn dhut a dhèanamh an àite sam bith, anns a’ ghàrradh no anns an taigh. Tha e uabhasach math airson blàthachadh sìos an dèidh eacarsaich no dìreachstretch beag aig àm sam bith. Tha tòrr bhidiothan air YouTube ma tha sibh a’ lorg stiùireadh.

[Seonag] Ceart, an-diugh tha mi a’ dol a dhol a’ ruith. Tha mi uabhasach fhèin fortanach gu bheil rathad baidhsagail agam dìreach air taobh a-muigh an taighe agam agus sin far a bheil mi dol a dhol.

[Seonag] Fhad ’s a tha mi a’ ruith, bidh mi ag èisteachd ri podcast no ceòl, ’s toigh leam an tìde seo leam fhìn.

[Seonag] Deiseil!

[Seonag] Latha snog eile a th’ ann agus tha mi a' dol a dhol a-mach air a’ bhaidhsagal.

[Seonag] ’S e cycle-friendly-village a th’ ann an Ceann a’ Ghiùthsaich agus tha tòrr slighean timcheall air an sgìre.

[Seonag] Agus seo sinn aig Tromie Bridge.

[Seonag] Chaidh am fear a rinn mise an-diugh seachad air Ruthven Barracks, thairis air Tromie Bridge, seachad air Drumguish, seachad air Loch Insh, timcheall air Ceann na Creige agus air ais gu Ceann a’ Ghiùthsaich.

Seonag is exercising at home. What about you?

English Beurla

[Seonag] Hello! Seonag Buxton here again and today I’m going to be telling you about the things that I’ve been doing from my house to keep fit through this lockdown. I’m very lucky that there’s a small hill behind my house that takes about an hour to climb to the top. I climb it maybe two times each week and it’s good exercise. Here, you can see right over Kingussie over to the Cairngorms.

[Seonag] And I’ve reached the top, look how beautiful it is!

[Seonag] From the top, you’ll see right down the Strath from Kincraig past Ruthven Barrracks and Kingussie, past Newtonmore and down to Laggan.

[Seonag] Another way that I’ve been fitting some movement in is by trying yoga. Now, I’m not very good at yoga at all but I’ve been enjoying it. And you can do it anywhere, in the garden or in the house. It’s very good for warming down after exercise or just for a wee stretch any time. There are lots of videos on YouTube if you’re looking for guidance.

[Seonag] Right, today I’m going to go running. I’m really lucky that I have a bicycle road just outside my house and that’s where I’m going to go.

[Seonag] While I’m running, I listen to a podcast or music, I like this time to myself.

[Seonag] Ready!

[Seonag] It’s another beautiful day and I’m going to go out on the bicycle.

[Seonag] Kingussie is a ‘cycle-friendly-village’ and there are many routes in the area.

[Seonag] And this is us at Tromie Bridge.

[Seonag] The route I took today went past Ruthven Barracks, over Tromie Bridge, past Drumguish, past Loch Insh, around Kincraig and back to Kingussie.
