Dè tha Eilidh NicIain ris?

[Eilidh] Hàlo a h-uile duine, is mise Eilidh NicIain.

[Eilidh] Tha mi naoi deug bliadhna a dh’aois agus ’s ann à Inbhir Pheofharain a tha mi.

[Eilidh] Gu mì-fhortanach, leis a h-uile càil a tha a’ dol air adhart san t-saoghal an-dràsta, tha e a’ ciallachadh gu bheil mi air ais san taigh agam fhìn airson an àm ri teachd.

[Eilidh] Tha e a’ cur mo mhàthair droil ach aig an ìre seo chan eil taghadh aice.

[Eilidh] Ach tha an lockdown seo air toirt dhuinn ùine gus rudan ùra a dh’fheuchainn no fiù ’s rudan seann a thogail.

[Eilidh] Mar eisimpleir, tha mise air obair-chroisidh a thogail no crochet mar a th’ aca’s a Bheurla… no an e Fraingis a th’ ann…?

[Eilidh] Co-dhiù, tha mi gan reic airson beagan airgid o chionn ’s nach bi obair agam tron t-samhradh leis a h-uile rud a tha a’ dol air adhart a rèir a’ choròna-bhìorais.

[Eilidh] Tha mi cuideachd air a bhith a’ cluich an fheadain ’s an fhìdeag agam.

[Eilidh] Tha mi cuideachd air a bhith a’ ruith… chun frids agam.

[Eilidh] Tha mi a-nis letheach slighe tron a agus chan eil e cho dona ‘s a bha mi an dùil ach chì sinn na tha mi ag ràdh ann an t-seachdain.

[Eilidh] Ach airson an-dràsta, mar sin leibh!

What’s Eilidh Johnson up to?

[Eilidh] Hello everyone, I’m Eilidh Johnson.

[Eilidh] I’m 19 years old and I’m from Dingwall.

[Eilidh] Unfortunately, with everything that’s going on in the world right now, it means that I’m back in my own house for the future.

[Eilidh] It annoys my Mum but at this point she doesn’t have a choice.

[Eilidh] However, this lockdown has given us the time to try new things or pick up old things.

[Eilidh] For example, I’ve started to crochet, or ‘crochet’ as they say in English… or is it French…?

[Eilidh] Anyway, I’m selling them for a bit of money because I won’t be working over summer with everything that’s going on in terms of the coronavirus.

[Eilidh] I’ve also been playing my chanter and whistle.

[Eilidh] I’ve also been running… to the fridge.

[Eilidh] I’m now half-way through lockdown and it’s not as bad as I thought but we’ll see what I’m saying in a week.

[Eilidh] But for now, goodbye!
