An e Mary Berry ùr a th’ ann an Adele?

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Adele] Halò! Is mise Adele agus ’s e seo an dàrna bhlog agam airson BBC ALBA. Bha mi a’ bruidhinn ris an seanmhair agam. Tha i a’ fuireach leatha fhìn agus thuirt i rium gu bheil i measail air dol a-mach air Disathairne gun M&S café agus cèic is cùpa tì fhaighinn. So bha mise airson cèic a dhèanamh dhi.

[Adele] Aidh, feumaidh mi thòiseachadh oir ’s e latha àlainn a th’ ann agus chan eil mi ag iarraidh a bhith anns a’ chidsin fad an latha.

[Adele] Feumaidh mi ràdh, chan e Mary Berry a th’ annam agus chan eil mi a’ feuchainn ri bhith Mary Berry.

[Adele] Bha mi a’ dol a dhèanamh Victoria sponge, ach dh’ith am bràthair agam na h-uighean mu dheireadh so chan eil a h-uile càil agam airson sin a dhèanamh ach tha a h-uile càil agam airson Empire Biscuits.

[Adele] Stay tuned!

[Adele] ‘S e latha àlainn a th’ ann a-muigh so tha mi a' dol a dhol cuairt mhòr a-nis leis an cèic agam airson mo sheanmhar agus tha mi a’ dol a chrìochnachadh aig taigh mo sheanmhar agus an uair sin coiseachd air ais dhan taigh agam. So trobhad comhla rium!

[Adele] Tha e doirbh a chionn ‘s nach urrainn dhomh a’ fuireach airson cèic ithe agus cùpa tì comhla ris an seanmhair agam ach ma tha dìreach an cèic a’ cur gàire air an aodann aice, tha sin math gu leòr dhòmhsa.

Is Adele the new Mary Berry?

English Beurla

[Adele] Hello! I’m Adele and this is my second vlog for BBC ALBA. I was speaking to my granny. She lives by herself and she said to me that she enjoys going out on Saturday to the M&S café and getting a cake and cup of tea. So I wanted to make her a cake.

[Adele] Aye, I need to get started because it’s a beautiful day and I don’t want to be in the kitchen all day.

[Adele] I must say, I’m no Mary Berry and I’m not trying to be Mary Berry.

[Adele] I was going to make a Victoria sponge, but my brother ate the last eggs, so I don’t have everything I need to make that, but I have everything for Empire Biscuits.

[Adele] Stay tuned!

[Adele] It’s a beautiful day outside so I’m going on a long journey now with my granny’s cakes and I’m going to finish at my granny’s house and then walk back to my house. So, come along with me!

[Adele] It’s difficult because I can’t stay to have a cake and cup of tea with my granny but if the cake puts a smile on her face, that’s good enough for me.
