Tha Daibhidh taingeil gu bheil Taiji aige aig an àm seo

[Dàibhidh Eyre] ’S mise Dàibhidh Eyre agus an-dràsta tha mi a’ fuireach aig taigh mo phàrantan ann an Lochwinnoch, Siorrachd Rinn Friù.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Thòisich mi ag ionnsachadh Taiji (Tai Chi) o chionn còig bliadhna neo mar sin.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha mi air a bhith ga chluich cha mhòr a h-uile latha on a thòisich sinn a’ cumail aig an taigh.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Bha mi ann an Sìona airson seachd mìosan an-uiridh, ga h-ionnsachadh bho fìor deagh thidsear.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha fhios a’m nach eil mi math air fhathast, ach bidh e a’ toirt fois dhomh.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Is tric a bhios m’ inntinn làn rudan agus cuid dhiubh, uill, chan eil iad snog.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] An-diugh, an rud as motha, ’s e gu bheil mo mhàthair san ospadal ann am Pàislig agus am bhìoras oirre.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha an teaghlach air fad gu math iomagaineach air a son.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha i a’ tighinn air adhart ge-tà, a’ faighinn troimhe.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha mi ’n dòchas nach bi i fada a’ tilleadh dhachaigh.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha mi taingeil gu bheil an Taiji seo agam

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Tha e gam chuideachadh, tha mi smaoineachadh.

[Dàibhidh Eyre] Gam shocrachadh.

David is grateful he has Taiji at this time

[David Eyre] I'm David Eyre and at the moment I'm staying at my parents' house in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire.

[David Eyre] I started learning Taiji (Tai Chi) about five years ago.

[David Eyre] I've been doing it almost every day since we’ve had to stay at home.

[David Eyre] I was in China for seven months last year, learning from an excellent teacher.

[David Eyre] I know I'm still not good at it, but it gives me a peaceful feeling.

[David Eyre] My mind's often full of different thoughts, and some of them aren't that nice.

[David Eyre] Today, the biggest thing is my mother's health.

[David Eyre] She's in hospital in Paisley because of the virus.

[David Eyre] The whole family is worried for her.

[David Eyre] She's coming along though. Getting through it.

[David Eyre] I hope she won't be long coming home.

[David Eyre] I'm thankful that I've got Taiji. It helps me, I think.

[David Eyre] It calms me.
