dè na tha sin? – how much is that?

an fheadhainn seo – these ones

an fheadhainn sin – those ones

dè tha e? – what is it?

currain – carrots

buntàta – potato(es)

notaichean – pounds (£)

deich notaichean – ten pounds (£10)

a bheil sibh ag iarraidh currain? - do you want carrots?

not – one pound

dà not – two pounds

trì notaichean – three pounds

Notice that with the £1 and £2, you just say not but from £3 onwards, you use notaichean.

ceithir notaichean – four pounds

còig notaichean – five pounds

sia notaichean – six pounds

seachd notaichean – seven pounds

ochd notaichean – eight pounds

naoi notaichean – nine pounds

deich notaichean – ten pounds
