The letter ‘v’ does not exist in the Gaelic alphabet, however mh is one letter combination in Gaelic that can create a ‘v’ sound. This can be heard in the feminine form of the adjective mhòr (big):
a big mountain
Another example is fuamhaire (a giant):

And a final example is làmh (hand):
