A' cumail taigh blàth

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Donaidh] 'S e obair mì-chàilear a th' ann a bhith a' toirt leacan bhon bhalla.

[Donaidh] 'S e balla cloiche a tha seo agus chan eil dòigh furasta ann airson na leacan a thoirt air falbh.

[Donaidh] Nam b' e balla plèastar-bòrd a bh' ann, uaireannan bhiodh na leacan air am plèastar-bòrd a thoirt dheth.

[Donaidh] Cha robh night on the tiles cho math seo a-riamh, eh?

[Donaidh] Seall na h-ingos a tha seo, tha mi air am PVC plastaig seo a thoirt air falbh agus mar a chì thu tha an còmhdach blàthachaidh a bh' ann caran sean agus chan eil e cho math 's a bu chòir. Tha mise a' dol a chleachdadh stuth a tha caran nas ùire agus a tha gu bhith tòrr nas fheàrr.

[Donaidh] Ach an toiseach beagan sgioblachaidh, agus tha e nas fheàrr le beagan uisge, a bhith damp air choreigin.

[Donaidh] Tha thu a' faighinn miotagan leis a' chrogan a tha seo cuideachd. Nach eil iad a' coimhead math? Agus speuclairean. Agus le deagh chrathadh. Nise, deiseil.

[Donaidh] Bidh an cop còmhdach blàthachaidh seo a' fàs cruaidh agus a' meudachadh 's bidh e a' dol dhan h-uile còrnair. Mar sin cha leig thu leas a bhith faiceallach.

[Donaidh] Abair gum bi seo còsaidh anns a' gheamhradh, eh?

[Donaidh] Agus tha dòighean eile air an taigh agad a chumail còsaidh cuideachd.

Keeping a house warm

English Beurla

[Donnie] It’s an unpleasant task taking tiles from the wall.

[Donnie] This is a stone wall and there is no easy way to remove the tiles.

[Donnie] If it was a plasterboard wall, sometimes the tiles would take the plasterboard off.

[Donnie] There was never such a good night on the tiles, eh?

[Donnie] Look at these ingos, I have removed this PVC plastic and as you can see the insulation was quite old and it isn't as good as it should be. I am going to use stuff that is a bit newer and that will be much better.

[Donnie] But first a little tidying, and it is easier with a little water, to be somewhat damp.

[Donnie] You get gloves with this can too. Don't they look good? And glasses. And with a good shake. Now, ready.

[Donnie] This foam insulation will become hard and expand and it will go into every corner. Therefore you don't need to be careful.

[Donnie] This will certainly be cosy in the winter, eh?

[Donnie] And there are other way to keep your house cosy too.
