An aimsir còmhla ri Anne Lundon

[Anne Lundon – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Ceud taing Alasdair. Feasgar math dhuibh. Uill ‘s e fìor mheasgachadh de fhrasan agus greisean de shoilleireachd a bha tro mhòran sgìrean an-diugh ach ma bheir sinn sùil air na tha gu bhith a’ tachairt a-nochd, ‘s ann rudeigin sgòthach a bhios i mun Chost an Iar, frasan uisge a tha seo a’ cumail smachd air cùisean, seo gu bhith a’ gluasad gu an Ear tron dùthaich mar a thèid an oidhche air adhart, a’ fàgail an turadh gu ìre air a chùlaibh ach frasan a bharrachd a’ gluasad a-staigh mun Iar-Dheas nas fhaide air an oidhche, i gu bhith eadar sia agus a h-ochd Celsius anns an fharsaingeachd agus bu chòir gur ann lag a bhios a’ ghaoth gu ìre mhòr, oiteagan gaoithe ‘s mathaid mu na costaichean.

[Anne Lundon – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Sùil air adhart gu a-màireach ma-thà agus ‘s ann rudeigin sgòthach agus fliuch a mhaireas i mun Chost an Iar, greisean de shoilleireachd ge-tà a tighinn troimhe mar a thèid an latha air adhart, an t-uisge seo a’ gluasad a-staigh mu cheann a Deas na dùthcha, cuideachd a’ cumail smachd air cùisean.

[Anne Lundon – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Ach ma bheir sinn sùil nas mionaidiche air na bhios a’ tachairt feasgar a-màireach mu cheithir uairean agus mairidh i rudeigin sgòthach tro Shealtainn le ceò agus sgleò sgapte, frasan a’ cumail smachd air cùisean tro chnap mhòr dhen Ghàidhealtachd agus dh’fhaodadh cuid dhiubh a bhith trom le tàirneanaich nan cois ach bu chòir gum bidh greisean de shoilleireachd a’ tighinn troimhe eadar frasan sam bith. Greisean grèine tro Ghlaschu agus Dun Èideann ach tro Dhùn-Phris, Gall-Ghàidhealaibh ‘s na Crìochan an t-uisge seo a’ cumail smachd air cùisean, agus son an còrr dhen fheasgar agus gu ruigeadh beul na h-oidhche chan eil atharrachadh mòr a’ tighinn air cùisean, an t-uisge tha seo fhathast gu bhith mun cuairt ach thig an turadh gu ìre le greisean de dh’iarmailt shoilleir a’ tighinn troimhe.

[Anne Lundon – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Nise sùil air adhart gu Diardaoin agus chì sinn bhon dealbh a tha seo gu bheil sinn gu mòr fo smachd bruthadh ìosal, na h-aghaidhean tha seo a’ tighinn gar n-ionnsaigh, a’ ciallachadh gu bheil i gu bhith rudeigin caochlaideach airson Diardaoin agus gu ruige deireadh na seachdain agus greisean de shoilleireachd agus cuideachd frasan, fìor mheasgachadh dhen chuid agus i gu bhith a’ ruighinn mu thrì-deug no ceithir-deug Celsius aig a’ char as àirde ach bu chòir gur ann lag a bhios a’ ghaoth anns an fharsaingeachd. Sin dhuibh an aimsir.

The weather with Anne Lundon

[Anne Lundon – Weather Reporter] Thank you, Alasdair. Good afternoon. Well most areas experienced a good mix of showers and brightness today but if we have a look at what’s happening tonight, it’s going to be somewhat cloudy around the West coast with showers dominating and this will move throughout the country towards the East as the night goes on, leaving a break in the clouds but with more showers moving in to the South-West later on in the evening, it’s generally going to be between six and eight Celsius and the wind should be light to an extent, gusts of wind perhaps around the coast.

[Anne Lundon – Weather Reporter] A look ahead to tomorrow then and it will remain mostly cloudy and wet around the West Coast, sunny spells breaking through though as the day goes on, this rain moving in and dominating the South of the country.

[Anne Lundon – Weather Reporter] But if we take a closer look at what’s going to happen tomorrow afternoon around four o’ clock, it will stay quite cloudy through Shetland with fog and scattered mist, showers will take control throughout a large part of the Highlands agus some of them could be heavy with chances of thunder but expect bright spells between showers. Sunny spells through Glasgow and Edinburgh but for Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders there will be rain and expect no change for the rest of the afternoon until nightfall as this rain will remain but expect a break in the clouds somewhat with spells of brightness emerging.

[Anne Lundon – Weather Reporter] Now a look ahead to Thursday and from this picture we can see that we are under an area of low pressure, these approaching fronts mean things will be somewhat changeable for Thursday and until the weekend and spells of brightness and showers will emerge too, a good mix of the two and it will reach around thirteen or fourteen Celsius at the most but winds should be light on the whole. That’s the weather.
