Duaisean FilmG

[Iain MacIlleathain - Preseantair] Nise, bha deireadh-sheachdain mhòr ann an Glaschu le duaisean FilmG gan toirt seachad. Seo an siathamh bliadhna dhen fharpais agus bha trì fichead ‘s a sia filmichean ann, barrachd air na bh’ aca a-riamh roimhe, an uiridh co-dhiù. Agus a rèir muinntir FilmG, bha na filmichean fìor mhath cuideachd. Chuir e air an tux agus chaidh Andreas Wolff a choinneachadh ri càch air a’ brat-dearg aig a’ chuirm.

[Andreas Wolff – Neach-aithris] An còmhlan Èirinneach, Seo Linn a dh’fhosgail cuirm duaisean FilmG ann an Glaschu air an deireadh-sheachdain. Chunnaic còrr is trì millean duine an bhidio aca air YouTube. Ach, bha naidheachdan gu leòr aig FilmG fhèin cuideachd.

[Floraidh Forrest] Tha sinn air feuchainn air rudan a dhèanamh caran diofraichte am-bliadhna. Tha sinn air toirt brosnachadh dhan h-uile duine a bhith a’ cleachdadh nam fònaichean-làimhe aca, ‘s a’ tweatadh, ‘s a’ cur suas air Facebook dealbhan, selfies, a h-uile sìon fhad ‘s a tha tachartas a’ dol.

[Andreas Wolff – Neach-aithris] Choisinn Alison Nic a’ Phiocair à Earra-Ghàidheal an duais airson an cleasaiche as fheàrr am-measg nan òigridh.

[Alison] A h-uile bliadhna, tha thu ag ionnsachadh rudeigin ùr mu dheidhinn a’ chamara. Tha tòrr rudan ri ionnsachadh mu dheidhinn. Chan ann a-mhàin air beulaibh a’ chamara. Tha tòrr, tòrr dhaoine ag obair gu math trang air a’ chùl.

[Andreas Wolff – Neach-aithris] Agus fhuair Sgoil Bàgh a’ Chaisteil dhuais.

[Claire-Frances] Tha e gu math inntinneach, mar na rudan a bhios iad a’ cleachdadh, mar editing, bha sin gu math spòrsail.

[Ceitidh] Tha e a’ brosnachadh do Ghàidhlig cuideachd.

[Andreas Wolff – Neach-aithris] Bha àireamh filmichean nan inbheach suas am-bliadhna cuideachd.

[Uilleam Moireach] Bha mi cho toilichte cothrom fhaighinn a bhith ann a-nochd, a bhith mun chuairt air an uiread de dhaoine, dìreach an tàlant a bha anns an rùm a-nochd, bha e dìreach sgoinneil a bhith mun chuairt air. Ach a bharrachd air sin, dìreach duais fhaighinn, ‘s e bonus a bh’ ann chanainn.

[Andreas Wolff – Neach-aithris] Dh’fhoillsich am Ministeir airson Cànanan Albannach, Alasdair Allan, taic-airgid airson am pròiseact a chumail a’ dol bliadhna eile. Andreas Wolff. BBC An Là, Glaschu.

The FilmG awards

[Iain MacLean - Presenter] Now, there was a big weekend in Glasgow with the FilmG awards. This is the sixth year of the competition and there was 66 films, more than before, last year anyway. And according to FilmG, the films were really good too. He put on his tux and Andreas Wolff went to meet those who were on the red carpet at the event.

[Andreas Wolff – Reporter] The Irish band, Seo Linn, who opened the FilmG awards event in Glasgow at the weekend. More than three million people have watched their video on YouTube. But, FilmG had plenty of their own news too.

[Floraidh Forrest] We are trying to do things a wee bit differently this year. We are trying to inspire everyone to use their mobile phones, tweeting and putting pictures up on Facebook, selfies, everything as the event is going on.

[Andreas Wolff – Reporter] Alison MacVicar from Argyll won the prize for the best young actor.

[Alison] Every year, you learn something new about the camera. There is lots to learn. It’s not only in front of the camera. Lots of people work really hard behind the scenes.

[Andreas Wolff – Reporter] And Castlebay School won two prizes.

[Claire-Frances] It’s really interesting, like the things that they use, like editing, it was very fun.

[Katie] It helps your Gaelic too.

[Andreas Wolff – Reporter] The number of the films for adults had increased too.

[William Murray] I was so happy to get the chance to be here tonight, to be around the number of people, just the talent who was in the room, it was so wonderful to be around it. But in addition to this to get a prize, it was a bonus, I would say.

[Andreas Wolff – Reporter] The minister for Scottish languages, Alasdair Allan, promised more money for the project for another year. Andreas Wolff. BBC An Là, Glasgow.
